Ben's high school sweetheart was Leann Kruger from Little Rock. They were together for several years and from this relationship they had one child together, Haleigh Gene Kruger, a daughter born in 1998.
He then was united in marriage with Theresa Brunk of Brewster, MN and to this union three boys were born. Colton Eric John Perry, Noah Brian Joseph Perry, and Eli Dawson Ray Perry. The couple later Divorced.
Ben was a member of the Worthington Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed the great outdoors and participating in Walleye fishing tournaments. He was a loving father to his four children and enjoyed spending time with all of this family.
Ben was involved in a car accident on April 7th 2011 at around 5 in the afternoon outside of Rock Rapids Iowa. He was flown to Sioux Falls where on April 10th 2011 the decision was made to let him go. A few of us stayed with him those last few minutes and it was a very peaceful passing.... he was only 31 years old.
